Shame is one of the most powerful and silent forces shaping our lives. It hides in secrecy, feeds addiction, fuels anxiety, and convinces us we are broken beyond repair.
In this episode, The Shame Nobody Talks About, we confront the real kinds of shame people carry but rarely admit out loud, shame from watching porn, addiction, substance abuse, sexual sin, secrets, mistakes, and things we've done... but also the shame placed on us by others through abuse, rejection, control, humiliation, and trauma.
Shame doesnt just come from our actions, it can come from what was done to us.
I walk through:
Common behaviors that create deep shame
How shame fuels anxiety, doubt, and spiritual distance.
Ways shame is inflicted on people without their consent
The difference between conviction and condemnation
Why shame keeps people stuck and silent
How God actually responds to shame, and it's not what most people expect
This episode isn't about pointing fingers or pretending we're perfect. It's about exposing shame for what it really is and learning how to bring it into the light.
Through Scripture and personal reflection, I share how God invites us to lay down shame, break free from its grip, and step into healing, peace, and a closer relationship with Him. You don't overcome shame by hiding it, you overcome it by surrendering it to the One who already knows you and still calls you loved.
If you've ever felt unworthy, distant from God, anxious, stuck in a cycle you can't break, or afraid to be fully known, this conversation is for you.
You are not alone.
You are not beyond redemption.
And shame does not get the final word.
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
