For our tenth episode we decided to break out our fist Top Ten list! Both JJ and Tanner decided their totally subjective top ten games of their lives.
The Rules
(Tanner didn't read the rules...)
In this edition #TNDM they talk about a new study being done by one of Tanner's college classmantes on the physical side of potential game addiction. JJ shares his gripes on cryptocurrency and data mining jacking up the price of DIY PC parts, (He really must hate Data Miners). The two shoot the shit on the upcoming Super Bowl and who they see winning. GTA VI is somehow being talked about 4 years in advance, (apparently). They also try to figure out what those zany people at Nintendo are up to with the new LABO system. Come join us today and find out more!
In this edition of #TNDM they talk about the brand new Kickstarter for The Name Doesn't Matter!. Highlights include the two talking about just how stupid the people at YouTube are being. Tanner decides that he needs to rant and rave about Mercy like a lunatic. Then JJ prods his anger at the NBA to get him going again. And is the hype for Cyberpunk 2077 dangerous?. All that and more on The Name Doesn't Matter!
In this edition of #TNDM they talk about the controversy surrounding EA's new "adaptive matchmaking" and how it's complete garbage. Highlights include the two talking about just how scummy the EA company is. Tanner describes just how high his fanboying is getting over Cyberpunk 2077. JJ gives a warning to all listeners about why the nVidia streaming service won't be worth it without Net Neutrality. And the guys have a long discussion about why there needs to be a good video game about pirates. Yarrrrr!
In today's episode JJ and Tanner talk about the Overwatch League starting up. Tanner's hype. JJ's sort-of-hype. Does this mean eSports will be a regular on ESPN? Tanner talks about the business of the team skins and JJ nods his head a lot. JJ reminisces about his time at the top of the Call of Duty ranks after they signed up for a local tourney. And JJ has bought a new Virtual Reality headset the HTC Vive. It would seem him and an NFL Quarterback are in the same company now!
In today's episode JJ and Tanner talk about RDR2 release date leak. It's later than what they initially said. Does this mean the game is behind schedule or having more love put in to it? (Anyone upset?) Tanner vents his frustration of how bad people are getting with swatting that lead to the death of an innocent man. JJ brings Tanner on a long tangent on lootboxes and classic gaming to now all thanks to Obsidian not having Microtransactions in their newest Game. Tanner gets his YouTube channel shouted out by JJ and gets flak for it. They discuss Disney finally breaking even with the Star Wars Franchise. They are probably going to get flagged with all the tagents they go on. (So much hostility in the air.)
In this edition of #TNDM they talk about the controversy surrounding Apple's batteries. Highlights include the two talking about the lengths to which Apple really doesn't care. Tanner describes how the Amazon and Google are going at it over YouTube TV. JJ gives a warning to all listeners about why it's important to police yourself on your hobbies like gaming, television and more. Because with Gaming Addiction becoming an official problem according to the WHO it needs to be discussed.
