Isaiah identified the coming Messiah as our Everlasting Father. Today, some people have bad memories of their earthly father which can often lead to misconceptions about the Lord as their Everlasting Father. But, as the promised Savior, Jesus quickly removed those false views by demonstrating love "fatherly" character traits and by being "faither-like" in His gracious treatment toward all people.
