Do you ever react with anger or fear, and say or do things, and then wish you hadn’t?  You end up wishing you could take it all back, or rewind it, or get a do-over? Often times, our emotional triggers are clear indicators that there is some internal healing that needs to be done. When caught in the grip of our emotional triggers, we can easily get thrown off kilter, our perceptions can become distorted and our interpretations of events and people can become myopic, blameful or just inaccurate. Being triggered can sabotage our best of intentions and make us act in ways that are contrary to who and how we truly want to be.

In this week's episode, Nancy discusses emotional triggers and how understanding your emotional triggers can actually become a catalyst for deep healing, self-understanding, personal growth and more fulfilling relationships. In light of the brutal murder of Lesandro Guzman Feliz, the 15 year old Bronx boy who was viciously attacked by a gang and savagely butchered with machetes outside a local bodega, many felt that the bodega owners could have done more to protect Junior.  In this week's episode, Nancy examines the social and moral responsibilty businesses have to the communities they serve. She is joined by her family and they're discussing what if anything, could the bodega owners have done to prevent Junior's murder.

Donald Trump’s executive order on Wednesday ended his Administration’s policy of separating migrant children from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border — but did not address the 2,300 immigrant children who have been taken from their families since early May. What will happen to the separated children who are currently in the custody of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)?
