This one is a trainwreck–60 wacky minutes that got cut down to the first 20 because of technical issues. But at least I know how to avoid those issues from this point forward, I think. Anyway, it’s fine. Learn why Nanny doesn’t like Christmas as much as she used to, why Bobby would have ruined the Home Alone movies, and why Zach’s name was not a big hit with anyone at first. PART 1: So, here we go with the 1966 move to St. Louis, at least the first part. Nanny moves her hands around like a traffic cop in Times Square during these interviews, so she knocked my iPhone and turned off the app. So, we had to resume with Episode 5B, which thanks to the continued performance magic of the Mobile Podcaster App, only recorded 12 of the 30 minutes. Episode 2 covers how Tom and Mary took their friendship and co-working relationship to new levels, leading up to what sounded like a rather sudden engagement. Some details about Tom’s time in the Navy as well as his college years. And more totally unsolicited comments from Mary about the popularity of Nina.

In the inaugural podcast, Tom and Mary begin by discussing their parents’ journey to America. They then provide details about their early childhoods, their relationships with their parents and siblings, and what life was like for children of immigrants in New York City during the Great Depression.
