We have teamed up with @Andy3E from the @GreatDerelict  to bring you the 12 Days of Star Wars #12DaysOfStarWars. Each day for the next 12 days we are watching a film from the Star Wars franchise.

Does this still hold up as everyones fav film in the original series? Have the sequels ruined everything in this film? Is this the war analogy we thing it is?

"After the Rebels are overpowered by the Empire, Luke Skywalker begins his Jedi training with Yoda, while his friends are pursued across the galaxy by Darth Vader and bounty hunter Boba Fett."

This is Day 1 on our journey across the Star Wars universe and we start where it all began, a long time ago in the 1970s.

We have teamed up with @Andy3E from the @GreatDerelict  to bring you the 12 Days of Star Wars #12DaysOfStarWars. Each day for the next 12 days we are watching a film from the Star Wars franchise.

Is this the most influential film ever made? Do we even like it? Or is it so filled with baggage and lore thats its unwatchable?

"Luke Skywalker joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a Wookiee and two droids to save the galaxy from the Empire's world-destroying battle station, while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia from the mysterious Darth Vader."
