The Nat Coombs Show

Nat, Ben & Prop-O are back for more and have Week 9 in their sights but of course they sneak in a bit of Gen X vs Gen Z, before getting down to TNF, and asking if there is a path back to redemption for the Jets. Nat's keen on the Washington/NYG match up, whilst Ben, who's in red-hot form with his picks looks to the Bears/Cardinals. The boys discuss the benching of Anthony Richardson, and Nat defends his "time out" moment. Chat GPT makes a pick too, Prop-O's props and our Fantasy Team of the Week too!

Nat's joined by old friend and All-Pro member of the NC Show crew, comedian & actor Marek Larwood, back by popular demand! Unsurprisingly, there's plenty of tangents, including Marek's new show (Hedge Rush) not to mention a revelation about his long standing job with the Lions (Downstairs Co-ordinator, apparently!) There's still time for plenty of football chat, not least about his beloved Lions and their Super Bowl chances. Who does Marek see as their biggest rivals for glory? The Ravens are on that list, and they've made moves before the Trade Deadline, as have the Vikes. Anthony Richardson has been benched by the Colts - right move? Plus questions from the Hickory's Mailbag & more!

The tag team of tag teams are back with a whirlwind Week 8 review show....apt, given the breathless finishes across the NFL, most notably with the Jayden Daniels magic to keep the Commanders mojo rolling! With the Lions & Chiefs the de facto number one seeds, the boys assess the chasing pack, and establish just how big the gap is, whilst considering a few sneaky 5-3 teams (Falcons, Broncos) going about their business without too much hype. Will the Niners pay Brock Purdy and if not, is there a market for him? Are the Bengals done? Can Jameis Winston parlay his opportunity in Cleveland to another starting gig? All these questions and plenty more, including some crackers from the Hickory's Mailbag coming your way!

The boys are split across three different countries, but that doesn't stop them bringing you their latest Edge Rush, with Nat going all mid 80's late night DJ as he anchors from a downtown Parisienne Brasserie! Prop-O's on a lads trip to Ireland, and has clearly had a big night, possibly enjoying the Rams win over the Vikings, which leads the fellas to consider if LA are a sneaky inside rail playoff pick. Ben is, as usual, the adult of proceedings, and gives his take on the Deandre Hopkins to KC trade. Nat's interested in the comeback quarterback narrative picking up further pace this week with the return of Bryce Young, as all as some of the boys fave games with their Drew Locks of the Week. Prop-O is riding high with his Prop Bets and gives a few more, plus he maps out the official NC Show Team of the Week that's being entered into one of the Fantasy GameDay contests. With Nat on a bye week, it falls to All-Pro Ben Isaacs to step in and break down week 7 with Iron Mike Carlson after they spent an afternoon together in the Wembley press box. Are we set for a Kansas City v Detroit Super Bowl? What now for the Vikings and 49ers? Which 5-2 teams are for real? Plus they sift through the 2- and 1-win teams and figure out which could still make a playoff push. Plus plenty more and lots of great questions from the Hickory’s Mailbag!

Nat, Ben & Prop-O are back, and they've got a whole lot of Week 7 NFL action to preview. They start with views on the big WR trades this week (Adams & Cooper) and then get into some of the big match-ups including the Vikings squaring off against the Lions. Ben considers some data around first and second year QB's with Drake Maye heading to London with the Patriots, Nat looks at both MVP and coaches hotseat odds, both of which have some surprises, before they weigh up some of the other key match ups this weekend, and make their Drew Locks (fave picks) of the week. Of course, Prop-O has his fave Props, and if that wasn't enough, the guys announce a brand new partnership.....shout out to Fantasy GameDay, our new official show fantasy partner, made by UK fans for UK fans. Nat & Mike are back & take on the best division in football, the NFC North straight off the bat. Which teams are likely to stay the course? Will the Lions demolition of Dallas be the final straw for Jerry Jones? Will Darnold have a Cinderella moment? Is Love the best QB in the division? Speaking of final straws, is Doug Pederson done in Jacksonville? Are the Ravens & Chiefs 1A & 1B in the NFL power rankings? Drake Maye & Spencer Rattler's first starts are assessed, the Browns Deshawn decision is too, and plenty from the Hickory's Mailbag!

A whirlwind Week 5 starts with the London game, and the Vikings heading back to Minnesota with a perfect record, but some questions about their O. Nat wonders if there are a number of teams with records that really don't tell the full story, and the boys try and work out if the Jets can be fixed, and if Davante Adams is the answer. The NFC is wide open with the Cards upset of the 49'ers, the Jags are alive and kicking (just!), the Bengals are scratching their heads, and are the Colts better off with Joe Flacco at QB? This, a whole bunch of cracking questions from the Hickory's Mailbag are much, much more!
