Born into poverty and given away after birth, Travis T. Wolfe already had the odds stacked against him. At eight years old, having two drug addicted parents, his own grandmother and aunt put Travis in foster care where he was physically and sexually abused by age eleven. A runaway at age 15, homeless by age 16 and arrested at age 19, many people (including himself) considered Travis a failure.

Twany Beckham grew up in one of the roughest parts of the inner city of Louisville. At an early age, Beckham found his passion and used sports as a tool to help navigate his way to success.

Beckham earned a basketball scholarship to Mississippi State University and later transferred to the University of Kentucky.
In two-and-a-half years at UK, Beckham was a continuous member of the Southeastern Conference all-academic team and a member of its 2012 national championship team. Beckham graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2013 with a degree in communications.

Since graduation, Twany has published a book titled Full Court Press – Conquering Adversity Under Pressure, where he tells the story about his life as a kid and shares valuable experiences he endured. Beckham travels and gives motivational speeches in hopes of changing lives and inspiring youth. Twany just recently published a brand new book titled PRESSURE where he talks about overcoming adversity, redefining himself and what success now looks like. Twany’s book is available on Amazon.
