Suicide Bombing Strikes Military College in Mogadishu
A suicide bomber detonated explosives outside the Jaalle Siyaad Military Academy in Mogadishu this week, causing an unknown number of casualties, Somali authorities said.

President Ruto Faults 'Unfair' Court Decision Restraining Police Barricades
President William Ruto has criticized a recent High Court ruling that barred the use of police roadblocks during public demonstrations, calling the decision unfair to millions of ordinary Kenyans who do not enjoy state security. He expressed dissatisfaction with yesterday’s court’s directive, questioning how police are expected to protect lives and property without essential tools and operational freedom.

A complaint has been filed in Brussels against nine family members of Félix Tshisekedi, the president of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
