Gabon swears in ex-military chief Oligui as president
Brice Oligui Nguema, who led a coup in Gabon ending decades of Bongo family rule and swept the election last month with nearly 95 percent of the vote, has been sworn in as the country’s president over the weekend.
2. DR Congo- Rwanda – Qatar- USA
Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) are expected to sign a peace agreement in June at the White House, with U.S. President Donald Trump in attendance. The agreement marks a key step toward resolving the ongoing conflict in eastern DR Congo.
