1.       Mozambique – Maputo

Venâncio Mondlane returns to Mozambique

Former presidential candidate Venâncio Mondlane, as promised, returned to Maputo on Thursday morning after a two month absence.

He arrived from the Qatari capital of Doha on a scheduled flight of Qatar Airways. There as a massive police and military presence in and around Maputo airport, but no attempt was made to detain Mondlane.

4.Angola- Kenya

Angola wants to exempt Kenyans from visa requirements, and the two countries will work for Kenya Airways to resume direct flights to Luanda, Kenya announced on yesterday after the presidents of the two states met in the Angolan capital.

The president of Angola, João Lourenço, received his Kenyan counterpart, William Ruto, at the Angolan presidential palace in Luanda this week, in a meeting in which they affirmed their intention to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.
