A group of unemployed doctors in the Eastern Cape is calling on the provincial government to source alternative funding models to absorb unemployed doctors into the public healthcare system. These doctors have been picketing at the Premier’s offices since yesterday. This after they were told that they were not going to be placed in permanent positions after completing their community service assignment.
