This initiative is meant to address the epidemic corruption plaguing our young democracy, aiming to foster public participation in holding state power accountable through a robust multimedia strategy.

Statistics South Africa has published its annual General Household Survey (GHS) for 2023, providing comprehensive data on the living conditions of households across the country. According to the findings of this important survey - social grants remain crucial, especially in the poorest provinces. But what is even more worrying is the fact that last year alone about 42.3% of households were headed by females, with the highest prevalence in rural areas (47.6%), particularly in Eastern Cape (48.8%) and Limpopo (47.0%).
