The U.N backed Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) has confirmed a famine in Gaza. It is the fifth time in the past 14 years that a famine has been determined by the IPC. U.N Human Rights Chief, Volker Turk has warned that deaths from starvation could amount to a war crime. On the other hand, Israel’s foreign ministry has rejected the IPC report, saying it is false and bias.
