Two of the three accused in the convicted murderer and rapist Thabo Bester prison escape, will remain in custody. Thabang Mier has been granted bail of ten-thousand-rand by the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court. Mier, Joel Makhetha and Moeketsi Ramolula are facing charges of aiding and abetting an inmate to escape from lawful custody. The charges against Makhetha and Moeketsi include corruption and violating a corpse. The two will be back in court next week Tuesday for bail application -- while Mier will appear alongside Bester, Doctor Nandipha Magudumana and others on the eighth of next month. Twelve people have so far been arrested in the Bester escape saga.
