Yesterday, Nigerian authorities issued a travel advisory to its citizens visiting the US and European countries, advising them to take precautions when in those countries as reported cases of theft were on the rise there. Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed said his country is concerned that Nigerian travellers to the United States and some countries in Europe are having their belongings, especially money and international passports, stolen at an increasingly high rate.
