44 people who were allegedly being trafficked from Gauteng have been rescued by police in the Northern Cape. Police launched an investigation after some of them managed to escape and report to the nearest police station in Kuruman. They had been taken to the province under pretense of a learnership opportunity.

Citrus farmers are condemning the European Union’s decision to impose a cold storage requirement on citrus imports coming from South Africa. The European Union demands that South Africab farmers subject the produce to extreme cold storage to avoid moth infestation. Eswatini King Mswati III has denied being involved in the killing of the daughter of Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF) former Secretary General Godrich Gardee, Hillary Gardee. Speaking during the Police Day held at the Police Academy on Friday, Mswati rubbished the claims stating that Gardee .

The South African Cabin Crew Association has expressed shock and disappointment at the decision to said that it was shocked and disappointment at the decision to suspend the operating licence of low-cost airline for two years, Mango. The airline has been under business rescue for over a year. However, it has failed to secure funding. The Air Services Licensing Council has cited regulatory reason for the suspension.
