On Monday, we received calls from some of our listeners who were complaining that there were long queues for Covid-19 relief grants and a lack of physical distancing at some post offices across the country. However this issue of long queues has been going on for quite some time now and at some point - the South African Post Office said they were trying to control the queues by using staggered SMS messages asking beneficiaries to visit their nearest post office to receive their grant when their grant is ready for collection but this somehow proved to be ineffective. Police Minister Bheki Cele, has sent a stern warning to South Africans - that failure to wear a mask in public spaces will result in being arrested. Cogta has published new regulations that are aimed at governing funerals, prayers and initiations during the revised level 3 lockdown. World News: Yesterday, a court in Saudi Arabia sentenced women's rights activist, Loujain al-Hathloul, for five years and eight months for participating in terrorism-related activities and crimes.
