The minister of basic education, Ms Angie Motshekga together with the chairperson of the National Education Collaboration Trust (NECT) Mr Sizwe Nxasana and Mr Godwin Khosa, CEO of the NECT will launch the National Reading Improvement Plan (NRIP) final consultation meeting. Over the past three months, the National Reading Coalition (NRC) - which is a multiple stakeholder organisation currently incubated in the NECT has been at the forefront in driving consultations on the NRIP with relevant stakeholder groups such as education funders, teacher unions, academics and NGOs.
