The natural intelligence of Man

Ensures that we, as Humans

Will likely never be extinct,

Except by Us ourselves, by our own actions

And,

To this end we seem to be doing

A magnificent job!

We are beyond worrying about

Lions and Tigers

And Tsunamis and the like

As they,

Only make little tragic dents

On the Landscape of the “human” canvas.

We are the biggest dangers to

No one but Ourselves.

Amen!

Or, is there Hope?

Some little light in an almost

Completely darkened tunnel.

Does anyone know ?

Does anyone care ?

Is it still repairable?

Irreparable?

And, are we destined to our end

As Humanity.
