Life happens in seasons – what do we do when we enter a season of waiting, a season where we don’t know totally where we are headed?

“The main temptation during seasons of waiting (when I don’t know where I am headed) is to fall into the trap of comparison.” This trap of comparison and competition gets us in trouble all the time!

Comparison does only one thing, it takes our focus off of what matters the most - what is most important.

-Jesus fully loves us

-He love us unconditionally

-He sacrificially loves us

2. The issue of reconciliation

-In Peter's case, he was asked the same question 3x

-It doesn't compare to denying Jesus 3x

-Jesus does not ask us to forgive others more than he's willing to forgive us

3. The issue of your calling

-The first call & last call to Peter is to follow Jesus

-The call to everyone is to follow Him

We need to be people who are humble enough to say, “I am a sinner, and I need a savior.”

Praise is spontaneous.

Praise is contagious.

Praise is taught & learned.

He gives eternal life to those who humble themselves and are willing to work the fields.

When we spend time with him, it changes who we are on the inside. As you spend more and more time with him, it changes "what we look like" and how people see us on the outside. Because they can see us inside - our hearts.
