Episode #13 Featuring Rylan Parenteau is now Live!

The boys start this week's episode off by talking hockey, we discuss the Central Division in the NHL as we are almost at the halfway point in the season. We look at the firing of Geoff Ward in Calgary and the hiring of Darryl Sutter.

We move on to our interview with another sasky guy, Rylan Parenteau. We start off by talking about him playing goalie while growing up. He talks about his time playing for Canada West U17 and played against guys like McDavid, Eichel, Larkin, Aho, Nylander. We moved into his time playing in the WHL with the Prince Albert Raiders and playing with Leon Draisaitl. We then talk about his trade to the Tri-City and playing with the Americans. We look into his time and talk about taking part in the Vancouver Canucks camp. To finish off the interview we talk about where he is currently playing for the University of New Brunswick Reds and his experience winning the U-Sport Cup.

The boys then move into talking a little football and discuss the JJ Watt signing in Arizona. To end off the episode we break down the UFC 259 main card. We also give our thoughts and prayers to the Schultz and Gretzky families.

Episode #12 Featuring Byron Bitz

The boys start this week's episode off by talking about Mike Babcock being hired by the U of S Huskies, some NHL talk, breakdown the East division and discuss the Claude Julien firing.

We then move onto our interview with former NHLer Byron Bitz. We talk to Byron about his hockey career growing up in Saskatoon. We move on to his time playing collegiate hockey at the University of Corneil. We move into talking about his time in the NHL with the Bruins organization. We talk about playing with guys like Brad Marchand, Zdeno Chara, and the Sedin twins. 

We then talk about the NFL and the possibility of Russell Wilson getting traded. We also talk a little bit about the upcoming NFL draft. To finish the episode we give our picks for the title fights for UFC 259 happening next Saturday.

Episode #11 featuring Kory Sheets is now live!

The boys start off this week's episode by breaking down some NHL, talking Crosby’s 1000th game and how good McDavid and Matthews have been this year.

We move into our interview with former Saskatchewan Riders running back Kory Sheets. We start off talking about growing up playing football and move into his time playing in Perdue during his college career. We then talk about his time within the NFL before coming north of the border to play in the CFL for Saskatchewan. We discuss his time with the Riders and winning the Grey Cup with them. We finish up by talking about his time doing some acting and what he has been up to in life.

The boys finish off the episode talking about the NFL and discussing the Carson Wentz trade and some other NFL related information.

Episode #10 Featuring Wacey Rabbit is now Live!

The boys start off the episode with talking NHL and giving our picks for biggest surprises so far this season.

We move on to our interview with special guest Wacey Rabbit. In this interview we talk about Waceys minor hockey career before his time with the blades. We then move forward to his time with the Saskatoon Blades and discuss his long career before going to play with the Vancouver Giants and winning the Memorial Cup. We then discuss his time with Providence and other NHL franchises. We move forward by discussing his time playing overseas in many different leagues and also his time playing in the ECHL. It finishes off by talking about the present where he is playing in the ECHL in Jacksonville where he is starting to slowly transition from playing to coaching.

Episode #9 Featuring Logan Hofmann is now Live!

In this week's episode the boys start off by discussing the super bowl and all the events from Tampa Bay’s big win!

We then move to another big interview featuring up and coming Saskatchewan Baseball star Logan Hofmann. We talk to Logan about growing up in Muenster Saskatchewan and how baseball has become a large part of Muenster’s culture. We then talk about winning a Saskatchewan Provincial championship and winning the Canada Cup twice! We also get a chance to hear about his time at Colby Community College and Northwestern State playing College Baseball. Lastly we hear the story about him getting drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates and his experiences on draft day.

To finish off the episode the boys banter about Rough and Rowdy and announce the winner for our jersey giveaway.

Episode #8 featuring Andrew Albers is now live!

In this week’s episode the boys start off by breaking down the MLB trade market and the big deal that took place.

We move on to a big interview with a good Saskatchewan guy Andrew Albers. We breakdown Albers career from college and all of his time playing professional Baseball. He discusses his first game in the MLB and his time with various different organizations in the MLB and playing in the NPB and the KPO. We talk about what it was like playing with fellow Canadian Justin Morneau and the impact he had on him.

We end the episode with talking Super Bowl and Cord gives his prop bets for this Sunday

This week the boys start off by breaking down the Conference Championships in the NFL and give our predictions for Super Bowl 55.

Moving forward the boys talk about the hockey season so far and break down some power rankings.

We then move to MMA where we discuss the big event at UFC 257 of Dustin Poirier’s 2nd round knockout of Conor McGregor and some of the other fights of the night

We finish our sports talk with some baseball and talking the Blue Jays big signings

As per usual the episode finishes with C-Boys gambling cave where he gives his picks for some NHL this upcoming week.

Episode #6 featuring Evan Weninger is now Live!

In this week's episode the boys start off by talking about the opening week of hockey and impressions on what has happened so far. 

Staying on track with hockey we head over to our interview with a good old Saskatoon boy Evan Weninger. We talk to Evan about how he came about being a goaltender and his time through minor hockey. We then move on to discuss his time with the Kindersley Klippers and what it was like playing Junior A as a highschool kid. Moving forward we talk to Evan about his time at the University of Nebraska-Omaha where he played goalie for them for 4 years and holds multiple school records between the pipes. We also talk about all of the present NHLers he was able to play with and against during his collegiate career. Finally we discuss the present and the last couple of seasons where he has played for multiple teams in the East Coast Hockey league and where he is currently playing in Wichita, Kansas.

The boys move over to the gridiron where we discuss the 4 divisional games that happened this past weekend and preview the conference championship games happening this upcoming Sunday.

The boys talk a small amount of NBA and discuss the massive blockbuster trade sending James Harden to Brooklyn to reunite with Kevin Durant.

Finally, we head to C-boys gambling cave where Cord was successfully able to go 4/4 on his divisional weekend picks, this week he gives his picks for conference championship Sunday.

Ep. 5 : NFL Super Wild Card Weekend, NHL Preview is now live!

In this week's episode NCsquared starts off with looking at the events from Super Wild Card Weekend and discussing any major outcomes that occurred this week in the NFL.

For a good portion of the episode the boys discuss the upcoming NHL season and breakdown division by division and give our picks for who we think will be the top 4 teams in each division that will go on to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. We also give our picks for who we think will win the Hart, Norris, Vezina, and Calder trophies.

Moving forward, the boys touch base with a tiny bit of NBA and also talk about some of the major acquisitions that have occurred in the MLB’s offseason

Episode 4 - Featuring Marcus “Chunky” Adams

This week's episode starts off with reviewing the end of the NFL regular season and we give our picks for all 6 upcoming NFL playoffs games this Saturday and Sunday. 

We then move onto the big part of the episode and that is our interview with our special guest Marcus “Chunky” Adams former defensive tackle for the Saskatchewan Roughriders and 2007 Grey Cup Champion. We sit down with Chunky and discuss his football playing career from his time in highschool and college all the way to the CFL for his time with the Riders and a very short stint with Edmonton and even touch on him playing in the arena football league. We finish up with talking about his life post football and his plans for the future.

After the interview the episode discusses the upcoming College Football National Championship, and gives our predictions on who we think might win. We also give a little breakdown of the World Junior Championships.

We finally end the episode the way we love too by Cord giving his amazing picks for the Wild-Card playoffs games this weekend in the NFL in C-boys gambling Cave.
