Life is circular. What is will be again? We all fall down and at some point need help. Asking for help when needed is a sign of intelligence. In order to help someone, we must be in a position to help. To help someone, we must first help ourselves. In order to love someone, we must first love ourselves. In order to teach, we must first learn. Today's learning becomes tomorrow's teaching. To teach something, you must first know something. Learning is mandatory in recovery. Listening is a requirement of helping. We must learn from our bad past decisions. By learning better, we can then do better. Recovery means making the next right decision. By helping someone other than ourselves, we optimize our ability to help ourselves. Listen as Trent explains how his recovery must include helping someone other than himself.
