Superhero fatigue is a complex phenomenon that may be caused by a combination of factors, including oversaturation, predictability, declining quality, and a desire for more variety in popular culture. As a result, some audiences may be looking for new and innovative forms of storytelling to capture their attention.

The critics are split.  The audience enjoyed it. We discuss what we enjoyed and what we could do without.  The Box office for Quantumania doesn't look like it will outdo its predecessor.  Young Avengers is being setup and we don't give a.....

piderman Noir has been announced. Who cares?  Do you?  Sony's track record has been quite atrocious with its selection of titles and movies of the Spiderverse.

Is it settling in?  You know what I'm talking about.  You feel it.  It starts with an F.

James Gunn wrote the movie already for the beginning of Chapter 1 Gods and Monsters.  He's not going to trust this character's story with anyone else.  He knows what's at stake.  Do you believe he will direct Superman?

This is not a bad idea.  Zack Snyder, I'm sure, would be interested in a project like The Authority.  Why wouldn't he?  Yes, of course, the WB thing.  I get it, but if there were ways around how that could work, could it be done?  we discuss.

ames Gunn and Peter Safran, the co-chiefs of DC Studios within Warner Bros. Discovery, have announced the first 10 film and TV titles that will be part of the rebooted DC Universe, called "Gods and Monsters". The slate includes well-known characters such as Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern, as well as lesser-known characters like Booster Gold and Swamp Thing. The projects will exist in a singular universe, unlike the multiverse concept of the DCU. The first 10 titles will be released from now until 2027, with two films and two TV series per year. The executives were light on specifics, with no directors or actors attached, but left the door open for stars like Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, and Viola Davis to return to their respective roles. The overall vision for DC's future in scripted entertainment is considered the most robust since Warner Bros.' first attempt to rival Marvel Studios in 2014.

What did many f you expect?  Director?  Cast? Slideshow? Nope! We got none of it.  But we certainly got titles, which is good enough for us.  We react and discuss the new DCU!

With Dwayne The Rock Johnson's undeniable charisma and powerhouse presence, the possibility of him joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as 'The Thing' not only adds a new level of excitement but also a touch of irony to the already iconic character.
