Welcome Back to The Nerdy Basement Podcast, in this exclusive podcast episode, I (Ozzy) had the privilege of sitting down with Senior Visual Development Concept Artist for Marvel Studios, Anthony Francisco.

Anthony Francisco has worked on many Marvel Studios films including, Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, Ant-man, Thor: Ragnarok and most recently Black Panther, and is now currently working on the upcoming Captain Marvel solo film.

In this interview Antony gives a brief, but spoiler free review of Black Panther. We discuss cultural representation with Black Panther. How his childhood inspired the costume designs for the Dora Milaje in the Black Panther film.

We also discuss his comic book and artistic influences and how he managed to find work with Marvel Studios.
