It’s the holiday season, and what says “Merry Christmas!” more than the NHC sitting down with another show – the excellent horror podcast Fright Lab, hosted by our amazing friend Joseph Wren – and digging into the instant holiday classic* Violent Night! I mean, let’s face it: if you can’t get into the holiday spirit by watching Santa kicking ass and taking (gory) names, then you just aren’t doing Christmas right – are you?

* It’s not really a classic, but it IS Santa slaughtering bad guys, so…

Let’s face it… The Holiday Special is the most craptastic piece of work that has EVER been released in the Star Wars universe. Finally… someone has explained how it all came together! On this episode, we review the new documentary A Disturbance In The Force and finally get answers to the age-old questions – what the hell was going on and what the hell were they thinking??

We’re diving deep into the Filoni-verse and revisiting one of the most popular arcs of the Clone Wars series – the Mortis arc! JT is new to this, so the question is – will he love it or hate it since it’s one of the more oddball and expository portions of the Clone Wars?

On this episode we’re digging into a pretty crappy movie… the 2010 remake of the classic A Nightmare On Elm Street! It just isn’t good… but does one of us think it may be better than the original? If you want to know the answer… Don’t! Fall! Asleep!

Ahsoka is finally in the books, and we’re recapping the entire season – as only the NHC can! Was it good? Was it bad? Was it somewhere in between? Has JT softened on purrgil? What’s going on with the Hafu? We discuss it all!

Much has been made of the declining returns and reviews of post-Endgame MCU films, the DCEU is dead, and the DCU looks like it may be DOA. What’s to blame for all of this? We look into whether superhero movies are past their prime and how we got here.

Football season is upon us, and with SO many people playing fantasy football these days… we wondered. If we got together with some friends, what would our starship crew look like if we drafted them in the style of a fantasy football snake draft? On this episode… we do exactly that, along with our guest cohosts Spencer Jawitz and Jon Chiado from the Virtual Cantina Network!

We’re three episodes into “Ahsoka” now… what do WE think about the show? If you’re ACTUALLY wondering – you’ve come to the right place! If not, well… you’re already here, so you might as well keep listening, because we’ve got some spicy opinions!

Anakin’s apprentice gets her own show on Disney+ next week! JT and AJ take what we know so far and try to suss out where “Ahsoka” is going – and just how triggered JT will get when the purrgils show up.

Hello there! It’s a head-to-head battle over “Obi-Wan Kenobi” on Disney+. AJ says it’s overrated, JT says it’s underrated. Who will come out on top?? Hit us up on our socials and share your opinions!
