Kathleen Donnelly Israel was born 1949 in San Diego, CA where she still lives. A devout Catholic, she has studied spirituality her whole life. Ron and Kathleen Israel raised their five children in Lakeside, San Diego County, CA. They were a Team Couple for Worldwide Marriage Encounter in the 70s and 80s.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Art from San Diego State University. She studied Expressive Arts Therapy at the European Graduate School in Switzerland. She is a certified Transformational Breathing Facilitator, Theta Healer, and has enjoyed a lifetime of walking, hiking, and running.

Kathleen cared for her husband for the 17 years that he had Parkinson’s disease till he passed from this world in 2018. During this time, she studied spiritual healing, on the computer, from many enlightened thought leaders and teachers, developing her own wisdom and philosophies.

Her first book is about real life and beauty on the Camino Santiago de Compostela and about the wisdom and philosophies she shared with the other pilgrims she met along the way.

Donna Gerard has a BA in sociology, state teaching certification K-8, an MA in Middle School Science, and state endorsements in middle school science, secondary social studies, and secondary social science.

More importantly, she had 34 years of teaching experience including K-12 substitute teaching, K-4 basic skills math and reading, social studies 5-8, grades 1,5,6 language arts, math, science, and social studies, grade 6 health, and science grade 7-8.  She has taught students classified as special education, gifted and talented, cusp students, ELL, and general program.

Gerard was a practitioner of learning stations, project based learning, basal readers, formal spelling programs, phonics, whole language, call and response, book learning, hands-on learning, multiple intelligences, computer based learning, individualized instruction, and cooperative learning, to name a few "come and gone" initiatives.  She drew the conclusion that every trend in education has merit and should be used, but none are the “answer” to how to teach students and should be used exclusively.

Aside from teaching, Gerard loves everything water based, from swimming laps to parasailing and kayaking.  She is an avid game player, a die-hard Star Trek fan, and an aspiring world traveler.  She lives in New Jersey with her husband and her part-time dog.

Lori Baynham runs a lot — not only an advertising agency but marathons. While training for her first marathon in 2015 and running with a few friends, she stumbled upon what she now calls the yellow brick road to emotional sobriety. Now, Lori admits to being an admiration-seeking junkie, and has learned the recovery program could apply to her, and anyone interested in living a better life. Her mostly-true new book, Coffee’s Better When You Slurp It, chronicles her story and experiences to encourage others to find the path to harmonious emotional health.

An alum of Louisiana State University-Shreveport, Lori is an award-winning community leader, having led several causes and being awarded Volunteer of the Year for The Junior League of Shreveport after helping gang members integrate into society. Among her involvement highlights, she’s served as President of The Samaritan Counseling Center in Shreveport, President of Shreveport Juvenile Justice, President of Christus Health Systems Foundation Board, Project Research and Development Chair for Junior League of Shreveport, President of Delta Delta Delta Collegiate and Alumnae Chapters, Board Member for American Heart Association, served on multiple committees at First United Methodist Church in Shreveport since 1985, President of Caddo Middle Magnet and Byrd High School PTSA during the years her children attended, soccer coach for both of her boys when they were ages 6 through 8, President of the Sig-Ep Parents Club (her son’s fraternity) and as a Mentor for High Risk Kids through Volunteers of America.

When she’s not operating her advertising agency or serving the community, Lori loves to paint, read, cook and play with her grandchildren Lucy and Warren--and, of course, run. Just about every morning, she runs, having recently completed the London Marathon, the New York City Marathon twice, Louisiana Marathon twice, Marathon du Medoc’ in Burgundy, France, the Dublin, Ireland Marathon, Philadelphia Marathon, Jack and Jill Marathon in Washington, Twin Cities Marathon in Minnesota, and her favorite, Big Sur on Highway 1 in California.

Lori and her husband Bailey live in Shreveport, Louisiana. They have two awesome sons, Drew and Christian, two perfect grandchildren, Lucy and Warren, and one scruffy dog, Max.
