The new book MONDO DOCUMENTARY shines a spotlight on more than 350 documentaries
For the past 10 years, Thom Powers and Raphaela Neihausen have been hosting our Documentary of the Week here on WNYC. They are also co-founders of the DOC NYC Festival, which runs in the city every November. Now, Thom has written a new book called MONDO DOCUMENTARY.
It covers more than 350 films that he presented as the documentary programmer for the Toronto International Film Festival. Thom joins Weekend Edition host David Furst to talk about the book.
