On this episode of New Future, we speak to Luke Pearson - educator, facilitator, mentor, public speaker, social media advocate and Gamilaroi man.

In 2012 Luke founded IndigenousX - a rotating Twitter account that showcases and celebrates Indigenous diversity with a new host every week. Since then, it has risen to almost 60,000 followers worldwide, with over 300 Indigenous hosts on the account who have shared thousands of stories, facts, reports, pictures and laughs with an ever increasing audience.

The much loved project is creating a media landscape where indigenous people can share their knowledge, opinions and experiences with a wide audience across the world.

On this episode of New Future, we speak to Dr. Gordon Neufeld. He is a clinical psychologist and international authority on child development based in Vancouver, Canada and has spent much of his professional life creating coherent theories for understanding child development.

Dr Neufeld has authored (with the help of his colleague Dr. Gabor Mate) the best-seller “Hold On To Your Kids”. This book is now published in over 25 languages and is about the pivotal importance of children’s relationships to those responsible for them and the devastating impact in today’s society of competing attachments with children’s peers.

Dr Neufeld is internationally recognized for his work on aggression and violence among children and youth and appears regularly on radio and television.

In this episode of New Future, we speak to Mykel Dixon, an award winning speaker, author and creativity expert who works with Fortune 500 and ASX 200 companies including Google, YouTube, and Lululemon.

A musician and artist by background, Mykel is known for demonstrating the power of creativity by infusing it into his work. He is known for playing the grand piano as part of his keynotes.

In this episode of New Future, we talk to Melbourne-based Philippe Guichard. He is an award-winning international industrial designer and TEDx speaker. Philippe owns an industrial design company in Melbourne called D2. He’s launched a number successful products and has helped his clients generate over $200 million in revenue.

As a self described holistic designer, Philippe believes in making a positive difference to the world through his work, which is why he is very passionate about the circular economy and the triple bottom line, which encompasses profit as well as environmental and social responsibility.

On this episode of New Future, Kate and Kate speak to Dr Samantha Hall, the building whisperer and Founder of Spaces Alive, a consultancy that unlocks the human potential of buildings by making them more healthy and usable. Sam has a PhD in green buildings and a master of science in sustainability. She brings this rigorous background in science and research to her work to get award winning results for her clients.
