The New Message from God

RELIGIOUS FUNDAMENTALISM – Chapter 7 | The Pure Religion: People living in Separation try to make everything fit Separation. They try to make their ideas, their activities, their beliefs and their emphasis in life function within the realm of living in isolation, being separated from God and their Source.

RELIGIOUS VIOLENCE – Chapter 8 | The Pure Religion: Religion’s violence has been a plague upon humanity for centuries, exercised around the world, always present, periodically very extreme. It is a problem because religion is being used by those forces, those groups and those nations seeking power and domination, using religion as a justification, as a cause, as a purpose. But this cannot be, you see, for God initiated all the world’s religions because God knows that not everyone can follow one teaching or one teacher.

HEAVEN AND HELL – Chapter 9 | The Pure Religion: It is a common theme in humanity’s understanding of spirituality and religion that there is a higher truth, a greater realm, and that there is a lower realm, a realm of pain and suffering. For to be in physical reality is to experience this pain and suffering and to see its manifestations everywhere around you. Yet the memory of your Ancient Home, the reality of a greater and more complete existence, is still recalled, if only for fleeting moments.

SIN, ERROR AND REDEMPTION – Chapter 10 | The Pure Religion: The chief concern for people who are interested in religion is the problem of sin, the problem of human error, even grievous human error. THE MIRACLE – Chapter 11 | The Pure Religion: Today We shall speak of the Miracle.

People have a very strange notion about miracles. They want to see fantastic demonstrations of supernatural powers. They hear stories of great teachers producing such events, and they are presented to them to induce or to strengthen belief—fantastic stories of producing miracles for people, as if that is what sets the true teacher apart from the ordinary person. This is the stuff of lore and fantasy certainly.

THE SPIRITUAL FAMILIES AND THE PLAN OF GOD – Chapter 12 | The Pure Religion: Your presence in the world here is not an accident. You were sent here for a purpose. This purpose remains hidden within you, kept safe by the deeper Knowledge, the deeper Mind that God has placed within you.

This purpose is very specific. It is here to accomplish certain tasks with certain people, to serve the world both in your time and for the times to come. Its reality exists beyond your intellect and beyond intellectual speculation. It is a mystery for you to discover and to express.

THE REDEEMER – Chapter 13 | The Pure Religion: When you begin to look at your life honestly and to consider the wisdom of your past decisions and the quality of your current circumstances—in light of who you really are, in light of the fact that you have come here for a greater purpose—you will see that your life needs to be redeemed. It needs to be renewed and refreshed, given a greater purpose, a greater dimension, a greater strength and a greater integrity.

HIGHER POWERS – Other Revelations: Your eyes and ears only perceive reality within a certain band of a greater spectrum. Your senses were created to navigate the physical world and all of its opportunities, hazards and uncertainty. Most people are engaged in the world purely on this basis, often oppressed by poverty or political oppression and the constraints of family expectations, and cultural trends and attitudes.

INTERDEPENDENCE – Chapter 8 | Love and Relationships: There are three stages in one’s overall development. There is dependence. There is independence. And there is interdependence. In the simplest way, this is demonstrated in a person’s life by the fact that they are very dependent when they are infants and young children, slowly growing out of dependence to a state of independence as an adolescent or young adult, when they begin to differentiate from their parents and family. Then there is interdependence, when they are married and have a family, or unite with other people in spiritual community and so forth.

FORGIVENESS – The New Way Forward for Humanity: Humanity is entering difficult times—times of greater uncertainty and upheaval; times where humanity is facing Great Waves of change that are converging on the world: resource depletion, environmental decline, changing climate and violent weather, increasing political and economic instability and the ever-increasing risk of war and conflict between groups and nations over the remaining resources. It is a time that will aggravate longstanding conflicts and resentments between peoples and nations. It will be a time of growing competition and growing uncertainty.

Humanity has a great choice it will have to make. This choice will have to be made not only on the level of leadership of governments, but also at the level of every citizen. And that choice is whether humanity will fight and compete for the remaining resources or whether there will be a greater uniting and cooperation for the benefit of all. Neither option is easy, of course, but it is a definitive choice.
