·         SET A FINANCIAL FOUNDATION — CREATE A BUDGET A good budget sets the foundation for hosting a successful event. Don’t overload your Pinterest board with lavish ideas that you can’t afford. Set yourself up for success by creating a budget first, then choosing theme,  menu and investing in decor pieces you can repurpose — for example, buy neutral vases you can swap out floral arrangements in depending on the season and choose neutral table cloths that can be accented by interchangeable tableware.

·         CHOOSE A LOCATION WITH YOUR GUESTS IN MIND Consider

o    Age of Guests — don’t plan an event at a bar if you have underage members, also — your millennial children don’t want to sit at the kids table forever

o    How easy it is to have a conversation (is it loud, are there enough seats)

o    Do older guests have the ability to access where you’ll be spending the most time?

·         SIMPLIFY YOUR DECORDon’t go overboard.  Simple & tasteful can make a more profound statement than the business of an “over-done” event. Don’t do more than you can do.  While details are important, they aren’t worth the stress. — you are the only one who will know if you decide to leave something else behind. Your Great Aunt Sally is not going to be complaining that you didn’t use bedazzled napkin holders.

·         ENSURE THE RSVP FB Event — send reminders Message each guest individually If it is a mailed invite, add a reply postcard with postage included Automated email — set up a campaign to continue to send link until viewer clicks on it Email - track to see if they are opened so you know if you need to follow-up Text them and ask them to bring a side dish ;) 

·         KEEP YOUR GUESTS ENTERTAINED

·         We love having conversation starters prepared for icebreakers. Makes great dinner conversation if you have a lot of guests who might not all know each other. We also like to have some small activities for people who might not be all chatter including cookie decoration, Lip Sync Battles or Karaoke, Photo Booth, a Chop’t challenge, superlative awards or some sort of craft.

·         CONSIDER PARTY FAVORS extend the memories and gratitude with something tangible they can take with them. For example, I host a Galentine’s Day party every year, and each guest leaves with a rose and note attached reminding them of how valued they are!

·         CHOOSE TO SERVE You’ve invited people to your party - treat them like the valued guests you want them to feel like Bringing the family together can be tough, but when you approach it from a place of love and serving — you can become create a memorable experience Our primary goal at ALLAUR is to love and serve the people we are working with well.

·         Tires lose air in colder weather. For every 10 degrees of temperature drop, your tire pressure will decrease by one to two pounds.

·         Windshield wipers should be changed regularly. 

·         In cold weather older windshield wiper blades will become brittle, tear and not clean your windshield properly.
