The New Norm

Now it’s time to go over the defense. This unit has had major player movement so there is a lot to unpack. The good thing is the coaching at every position hasn’t changed.

This show I give my way to early 53 man roster projection but we are doing the offense first. By breaking this up into offense and defense shows we can talk a little more about each position group.

Oh and Dallas Goedert is still a member of the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles!

Team, for the most part (fingers crossed on Goedert), is what it’s going to be going into game 1. So let’s go over the offense today and the defense in the next episode so we can see where the team stacks up going into their Super Bowl defense next season.I also go over all the signed undrafted free agents, along with a transaction, and the picking up of a 5th year option.

We go over the 8 picks on day 3 in this draft and add a little more insight to the picks made on Days 1 and 2.

The Eagles made one selection on Day 2 of the NFL draft. And yes they took a Safety, just not the one I wanted them to pick at 32. I discuss the selection of Andrew Mukuba and go over a bunch of potential targets for Day 3.

How do you keep your defense great? You draft great players. A big bonus is when that player can play multiple positions and serve almost like a joker for you. Confusion is the ultimate tool to winning defense and the Eagles selecting LB Jihaad Campbell is the exact way you help create confusion every single snap. A grand slam pick and I’m thrilled to talk about it!

Title says it all. I’m telling you everything I know about the top of the draft and then more importantly everything I know about the Eagles and this draft.

My official 1st round mock draft. All 32 teams. No trades (which I’m sure there will be plenty) but a good exercise to see who potentially can be available when each team is selecting.

Instead of ranking 32 players I thought a better exercise would be to do a final top 5 for every single position going into next weeks draft. Then on top of that I also give you my top 10 3rd Round and later sleepers. We’re officially all in on the draft.

Yes you read that right. This show became a golf show for a day after what happened during the final round of the Masters. That was sports theatre and it would be criminal not to discuss one of the most dramatic sporting events in recent memory. I also do tie this into an argument about why Jalen Hurts is special.
