The New Norm

The Eagles proved what I’ve said all along. They are just better than Washington. But it’s one thing to say it. Now they proved it. And did so in spite of a historically bad performance by a player who has a history of being bad and a Head Coach who can’t count. But despite that the Eagles took a firm hold of the division off some great performances from players who deserve the flowers coming their way.

Who had Commanders/Eagles as the “big one” in August? Well it’s the very big one. I go over a lot of numbers for both teams and compare rosters. I then go over the transactions and some other news and notes among players on the team. Finish off the show going around the NFL with my weekly power rankings.

The Eagles did what good teams are supposed to do. They beat up a team they were suppose to beat up. The defense continued it’s run of playing at an extremely high level and Jalen Hurts brushed off a very rough stretch in the 2nd quarter and played at a high level himself in route to the Eagles beating Dallas 34-6. Oh and the Eagles might have the best LB in football. Lets discuss.

Yes, you read that title correctly. I unleash during this show on why Nick Sirianni is in fact a phony. I also go over Dallas week, the current injury reports for both teams, and finally close out with my weekly power rankings.

The Eagles beat the Jaguars. The Head Coach did his best to make sure this didn’t happen. I go over the special performances from the QB, LB’s, RB, and WR but I absolutely address whatever the heck the HC was trying to do as a game manager.

This show I go over the players who’ve gotten better since week 1. This sounds fundamental but this has been a major issue for this team in the past. Progression didn’t exist. I also give some notes on the Jags and give my current power rankings.

Allow Jalen Hurts to re-introduce himself! Yes he is him has always been him and will continue to be him. What a win over a more than capable open. Tons to talk about besides QB1 including the defense, the receivers, and the OL. Oh and the RB he’s still good too.

Last week I talked about and this past game made matters worse. I answer the question posed in the title and go over recent transactions as well. I also give all the PFF grades for all the starters on offense and defense. Finally I talk about the importance of this game upcoming with the Bengals.

The Eagles finally won by double digits. Saquon Barkley was special. The pass rush showed up. The Eagles committed no turnovers! The game was stress free!

First and foremost I believe in Jalen Hurts. Hit as a fair man I have to at least explore the idea that he is the problem with the offense. Too many smart people are saying otherwise so in this show I try and give that perspective some thought. I also go over the injuries and the potential replacements. Finally I give my power rankings as we go around the NFL.
