The New Way of Working: A year and a half ago our lives were completely upended when the Coronavirus swept the globe, leaving many of us to scramble to find new ways of working, living, and for some, schooling their children. Lives have been lost, business have crumbled and yet, we have been expected to keep marching on. Amidst all of the chaos, the new way of working has emerged and it has forced many leaders to reevaluate the way they manage and lead their teams through unprecedented circumstances. For many of us, like myself, the changes that came down swiftly last year were only a minor hiccup as some of us have been working in a hybrid world for more than a decade. For some, it was completely life altering and activated thoughts of doubt, insecurity and a lack of worthiness. In this episode I am going to explore the benefits and the drawbacks to this new environment and how managers and executives can support and cultivate this new way of working.
