Russia is preparing to send oil to Cuba despite the United States blockade. 

The Kremlin confirmed that it's evaluating different options for providing energy support to the island, although it avoided giving public details for what it described as understandable reasons. 

Venezuela

Acting president Delcy Rodriguez stated that Venezuela reaffirms its commitment to dialogue and diplomacy in addressing its relation with the United States. 

Delcy Rodriguez made the remarks during a joint press conference following her meeting with the US Secretary of Energy where they discussed projects in oil, gas, mining, and electricity. 

United States

Meanwhile, the US treasury department lifted part of the restriction it had imposed that prevented oil and gas production in Venezuela with the aim of increasing the country's oil output. 

Argentina

In Argentina, another violent crackdown on Wednesday against massive demonstrations opposing far-right Milei´s labor reform, which critics say will further precarize employment. 

Despite this, the Senate partially approved Milei´s labor reform, and the bill now moves to the chamber of deputies for final debate.
