Kim Ellis Hayes, is a true luminary in the fields of International Law and Space Research. Her remarkable journey from a background in metals, mining, and mineral processing to becoming a Space Research professional and International Lawyer is nothing short of inspiring.

Kim is not only the Chief Executive Officer and founder of International Earth & Space Technology, a pioneering Australian company, but she's also a passionate advocate for STEM education and outreach. 

During our conversation, we delved into various facets of her extraordinary career:

• Kim provided us with a snapshot of her incredible career journey, starting from her final year of school. Her transition from mining research to space exploration is a testament to her adaptability and determination.
• She described her key roles and positions, which include serving as the Space Technology Discipline & Aerospace Legal Lead for Swinburne University Centre for Astrophysics and being an Adjunct Faculty member of the International Space University.
