This week I sat down with Kain Warwick, the founder of Synthetix and Benjamin Celemermajer, the head of strategy at Synthetix to discuss how Synthetix is jostling to make a comeback in the new world of Modern DeFi.
Ben and Kain ran me through how the Synthetix 420 Pool (launched March 7) is introducing a new staking mechanism to deliver higher yields to SNX stakers, zero liquidation risk for stakers, greater stability for sUSD and improved capital efficiency for the SNX ecosystem.
We discussed Snaxchain, the problems of 'Modern DeFi' in 2025, how DeFi is secretly thriving despite market sentiment, and much, much more.

While usually a more crypto-focused podcast, we went in heavy on Australia's housing crisis and key economic problems.
In this episode Jackson breaks down how Australia is rapidly debasing its currency, why most of the economic figures we view Australia through are completely wrong, why Bitcoin is important to understand as a tool for 'saving' money, and much more.

Kain Warwick, the founder of Synthetix and now Infinex, says Solana needs to fix its incentive models and internal processes to overcome its current issues with "extractive" memecoin launches — particularly following the recent LIBRA coin scandal.
However, Kain also says Solana's memecoin extraction problem is no different to the extraction meta Ethereum faced with ICOs in 2017 — it's simply a matter of blocking out the "bullshit" and getting on with the task at hand.
Kain Warwick is the founder of crypto's UX layer Infinex and DeFi protocol Synthetix and has been leading the charge in the crypto industry since 2014.

4CT is the lead developer of a new protocol called AicroStrategy: a blockchain-based version of Michael Saylor’s Bitcoin-holding company MicroStrategy, except this one is managed by AI agents.
MicroStrategy operates entirely on the Ethereum Layer 2 network Base, leveraging AI agents to loop Coinbase Wrapped BTC (cbBTC) across DeFi protocols including Morpho and Aerodrome to maximize yield and accumulate more BTC.
The team are close to launching its convertible bonds process which will allow users Users will swap USDC for $ABOND, which offers upside exposure in $AISTR. $ABOND is then redeemable at a future date for discounted $AISTR (if above strike) or your original USDC amount (if below strike).

AI agents could supercharge Solana's performance heading into 2025, especially with a pro-crypto and AI administration sitting in the White House under Donald Trump.
As an analyst and portfolio manager at Greythorn, Jae Sik Choi offers a powerful understanding of the crypto market and shares his predictions on why AI agents could supercharge Solana's performance in 2025.
Jae shares his take on how markets will react to Trump's inauguration next week, why he thinks AI is a blessing for Solana's price heading into 2025, whether or not you should invest in AI agents on Base or Solana, why ETH probably won't outperform next year and why the "AI meta" is probably here to stay.

Boot is a very competent crypto investor — especially when it comes to memecoins — and was the former marketing lead for several crypto projects.
Andy Ayrey is the developer of Truth Terminal, the AI entity that discovered the crypto memecoins Goatseus Maximus (GOAT) and Fartcoin (FARTCOIN).
Andy and I talk about how Truth Terminal actually works, why Truth Terminal is so horny and why the intersection of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency will be stranger than anyone can possibly imagine.
Andy shares what he believes will be the worst-case and best-case scenarios for the development of AI, and why crypto AI memecoins like GOAT and FARTCOIN will continue to capture attention heading into 2025.
No.one has an extensive academic background in psychoanalysis and psychology. He's a long-time crypto degen and is extremely sceptical of a lot of the activity that we see in crypto today, particularly when it comes to memecoins.
In this episode, we discuss the major problems that crypto as an industry is yet to overcome, the economics of crypto assets, financial nihilism, why he believes memecoins to be a “perverse structure” and much more.
Ben Simpson is an entrepreneur, crypto investor and founder of the crypto education platform Collective Shift.
Colton Kirkpatrick is the founder of the memecoin Zyncoin which ran up to a peak $150 million market cap during the degeneracy of May’s memecoin mania.
He’s a long-term crypto investor with one of the most unconventional introductions to crypto I’ve ever heard.
He’s also an ultra runner, a family man and someone who holds strong religious and moral beliefs.
In this episode expect to learn the story behind the launch and run up the of the Zyn memecoin, if memecoins are here to stay for the rest of the cycle, why Colton doesn’t think much of artificial intelligence, social media and increased technology use and why having a belief in God is crucial to staying grounded in crypto.
This was one of the most well-rounded and expansive discussions I’ve had on this podcast so far. I know you’re going to love this one.
