The Nice Price

Nice Price Pod welcomes freshly named Modest Yahoo to talk about his new band, Summer of Snakes. We also talk about the new one from Iggy Pop as well as John Cale on the old dude rock talk hour.

We talk the year in review! In December we asked listeners and store shoppers what their favorite records of 2022 were and now we discuss the top 10 followed by some highlights from our 2022 (76ish mins in).

We're back! With the first Corrispondents' Episode of the Nice Price Podcast. This week, we talk with our full-time Orange County, and part-time Naples Florida, correspondents: Blue Cactus about jump scares, things that are also the color blue, Garth, and so much more...

From the vault! We recorded this conversation with Blue Cactus a few months back and it was so fun we had to share it with yall. Check out this one from the vault and then we'll be back with all new weekly-ish eps after this!

The end of the year again part 2. Stay tuned to the end to hear Enoch's favorite boxer of the year.

We go over the results from the non-definitive best of 2021 based on the many submissions from the Nice Price Books & Records in-store poll. This week we talk 10-5. We'll be back next week with 4-1 and more!

We conclude the countdown of Pink Floyd with listener voicemails & a list of the definitive top 5 Pink Floyd records of all time and we give BDC his assignment for our next definitive list.

It's the countdown to pink floyd you've all been waiting for! We broke this one up into two parts for yall and in part 1 we cover the (mostly) stinker section of pink floyds discography to answer the age old question, what is the definitive ranking of Pink Floyd albums?

Pt 2 comes in a few days with the top 5 and listener voicemails!

We talk with the real C&C Music Factory, Chris and Charles from So & So Books. They tell us about their new location on Person St across from Person St Bar and Edge of Urge, the new album from Cory Hanson and his book selection for his new record 'Pale Horse Rider' which is an early contender for album of the year (27:30), then we try a rapid fire round of album previews to try to catch up with what we've been listening to so far in 2021 (1:13:20).

Reminder: it's not too late to call in and leave a hot take for our upcoming definitive count down of Pink Floyd records at ‪(252) 564-8868‬ for us to play on the show.

Thanks for listening. Please give us all the stars and reviews where ever you listen and support us at https://nicepriceboo.com/

One from the vault! Sort of. We spoke with Ryan Sambol on his new album 'Gestalt' (19:49) and much much more a few weeks ago and it's finally seeing the light of day.

You can pick up a copy of Ryan Sambol's 'Gestalt' at Nice Price Books & Records or from https://perpetualdoom.bandcamp.com/
