Hi friend,
In this episode I discuss my upcoming album, Sunshine Guaranteed - making it, what went into it and mostly the story behind its creation. This episode is on the heavier side, as I discuss my divorce and the impact it had on my life and creative work, though I do feel it ends on an upbeat note.
As always thank you for listening. If you want more Nick Arneson go to www.nickarnesonmusic.com and sign up for my mailing list and be sure to check out Sunshine Guaranteed on all streaming platforms on 10/8.
Love you,

Hi friends,
Happy New Year. In this episode I interview Amy Dragon. She's a mastering engineer at Telegraph Audio here in Portland, OR. She masters all of my music, and is a fascinating person. This was one of the most educational interviews that I've done so far, as Amy does a great job de-mystifying the world of audio mastering. She's also just a super cool person to shoot the shit with, and the hour went by way too quickly. Hoping to get another one on the books with her soon. Thanks for listening!

Hi friends,
In this week's podcast I interview myself. I searched "best musician interview questions" and then interviewed myself based what our beloved internet told me were the best questions. Came out pretty good (of course I think that, it's me), and it really digs into my story. Thanks for stopping by and listening, and as always keep coming back and I'll keep making cool shit!

Hi friends,
I interview myself this week, which is what I'll do every other week in between guest interviews. I talk about what I learned this week, rant about bedtime, and discuss what I want. Clocking in around 10 minutes, it's a quick easy listen. Links to what I talk about are below, thanks for listening!

This week I interview Mike Barnhill. Mike is a long time friend and phenomenal musician who currently lives in Atlanta. He shares a lot of the same passions that I do, as he too is making music out of his home studio and allowing his creative impulses to flourish and not wither. Mike and I have a lot of similar interests, and he will be a regular guest on this show. As you will hear, we like each other a lot, and go waaaay back. Stick around after the episode for a debut of Mike's first single from his project "Hydra Fighter". Thanks Mike, and thank you everyone for listening. Enjoy.
Hello friends,
In this inaugural episode, I explain why I have a podcast to begin with. I dig into my desire to always make and create, how I can't fight it and why I want to inspire others to do the same (if they feel so inclined). I also dig into my past as a musician, drummer and writer and talk a little bit about rejection.
In future episodes I'll start interviewing friends who are in a similar situation, and who I think can provide you the listener with some much needed life inspiration.
Thanks for checking it out... keep coming back and I'll keep making cool sh*t.
