In the first episode of a new podcast aiming for at least two episodes per month, Nick DiMarco introduces himself, his background, and the vision for Nick DiMarco Performance. An Air Force veteran inspired by military humanperformance, he later owned two strength and conditioning gyms, coached across sports, and evolved from Olympic weightlifting and CrossFit into endurance andultrarunning, including an attempted 100-miler where he stopped at mile 52. He earned a master’s in exercise physiology at Cal State Fullerton under Andy Galpin’s influence, later worked with Air Force Special Warfare, moved to WestVirginia, and earned a master’s in special education. He outlines two lanes: endurance coaching through CTS (Carmichael Training Systems) and the Guerrilla Performance Collective for podcasts, reviews, strength programming, tacticaland sport performance services, and phase-specific training plans, with goals to publish deeper research and eventually pursue a PhD.
