Favour Chibundum Chibueze is a Nigerian abroad. She has gone through the educational system in America since her undergraduate degree. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Utah. As the saying goes, "you can take the girl out of the science environment, but you cannot take the science from the girl" (yes, I totally made it up). You're definitely in the right company. Favour has decided to share her experiences with us, how she navigated undergraduate and master's school, and how she is surviving her PhD experience. Precious is a Nigerian abroad based in the state of Utah. Not only is she pursuing her PhD, she is also the owner of her own start-up business. Definitely a Jacqueline of all trades, master of some (ranging from food to make-up to randomly known facts). Her story is one of warmth with a little bit of laughter. Cloo Emma (AKA Lilliane) is a Nigerian Abraod. Based in Utah, Cloo has experienced the world in a variety of different ways and has obliged to share some of her stories with us. She expands on some of her stay in Cyprus and her journey to the USA. While a lot of things were not divulged, please be on the lookout for her autobiography, that details her experiences in-depth, coming out soon. Best believe, I will be updating you when it is out. The Nigerian Abroad podcast is designed to bring you first-hand stories about life outside Nigeria, from people who have gone through the process and are now thriving in their respective countries. No wish-washing over here, we only talk about raw experiences. Meet The Host: Uchechukwu (Uche) Mgbike is a PhD candidate at the University of Utah. She has gone through all her university years in America, in different states, so one could say she is familiar with the system. Whatever she doesn't know, she definitely knows someone who knows. In other words, follow who know road o (don't say nobody told you). Uche also teaches dance and braids on the side.
