It all started with the 1991 film that won best picture - SILENCE OF THE LAMBS (1991). Then Lee and Jesse each selected two additional films from that year to share and discuss. The selected four films were: BOYZ N THE HOOD (1991), FRANKIE & JOHNNY (1991), MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO (1991), and THELMA & LOUISE (1991).

Then they shared their personal rankings of the five films.

It's a triple feature episode! Lee and Jesse watched three movies this time around: Netflix's romantic (?) thriller FRANK AND LOLA (2016), the mind melting sci-fi COHERENCE (2013), and B.J. Novak's VENGEANCE (2022). Though all three films live in different genres, they put them all together to play a little game declaring which film is worth renting, which should be streamed, and which needs to be avoided. 

With all these movies to talk about, they did not have time to talk about a favorite place in the city. Instead, they poured a drink at home and produced a patio podcast.

Lee and Jesse watched the new David Cronenberg film CRIMES OF THE FUTURE. Afterwards, they decided to sit down over a drink to dissect this viewing experience (pun intended). 

So, they traveled to Dissent Craft Brewing in St. Petersburg, Florida to talk about Dissent's wonderful brewery and beers. As they worked through their thoughts regarding Cronenberg's latest, they also talk about eating plastic and surgery being the new sex.

The Night Before Couple took some time to watch a couple of movies. 

Lee and Jesse were looking forward to watching THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD (2021) because of the many wonderful things they had heard about it. However, it was the other movie they watched, LANGUAGE LESSONS (2021), that surprised them since they had heard very little about it. 

They share their thoughts over some pizza and beers in Safety Harbor, Florida at Crooked Thumb Brewery as a local bluegrass band is gearing up to play some tunes in the background.
