Members Reviews:
Throughly enjoyed the second book in this series.
I so enjoyed following the stories of the Nightingale girls as they worked through their second year of nursing school. The author's attention to the field of nursing and historical detail is engaging. She is a wonderful story teller. I will order the third in the series. Also the actress who performs in the Audible book is marvelous.
I have loved reading the series!
All of the characters are real and entertaining! The storyline is intriguing and very interesting for each of the characters. Being a nurse myself, I have enjoyed seeing how the nurses of the 1930s were trained. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series!
I LOVE this series!!
I liked this one better than the first and bought the third before I'd finished this one. I like the characters and I like how the stories unfold-I do believe Violet is a better person than myself. I don't believe I would have made the choices she made.
Another great story by Donna Douglas
Superb narration by Penelope Freeman as always and another well nightingale story. Looking forward to the next instalment!
A step back in time
