Even though we podded two days ago, it was absolutely essential for the Nii Lamptey Show to get together and discuss the sacking of the greatest man in history, Coventry City saviour Mark Robins.

He lost to Sheffield Wednesday, lost to Preston, couldn't beat QPR. They were going, "Well he's definitely sacked now."

He beat Luton 3-2, then Middlesbrough 3-0, pulled over and said "What were you worried about?"

Leeds = bad. Blackburn = loads better.

It's been a wonky old fortnight. We lost some games and a few people started to worry. Unfortunately, some of those worriers were also the current set of players and that included a dreadful performance against Leeds.

However, at the point when everyone thought we were bound for the Championship rubbish bin, we turned up again and beat one of the only unbeaten teams in the league, and did so fairly convincingly.

The Niis investigate how this could possible happen.
