This episode is my way of saying thank you to both of my parents, who each had a birthday this month. 

Segment one is an introduction to the man who wrote Galatians, the Apostle Paul. In segment two, we discuss expectations of what church services may feel like now that Covid-19 is part of our new reality. In segment three, we explore how in-home violence is also corrosive to the community. 

Today's entire show reveals how problem solving is preferable to blaming and discrimination. This common truth is understood in the minds of everyone who is dedicated to seeking and serving God, regardless of religion. Applying this truth into our daily practices, however, is not always so easy.

Today's show had two content segments and a brief plug for a new book in the final segment. Segment one explored why love & patience are essential for teaching those closest to us. Segment two (Z-Time) is a family discussion on how and why me must respond to unprovoked attacks against our faith. In the third segment, I share a brief overview and ordering details for my latest book "Lord's Shelter." 

In every family our leaders are facilitators. The question becomes what are we choosing to share with the ones that we claim to love? In a way, both segments of today's show explore this question. In the first segment we contrast Pharaoh's response to adversity with the response of Joseph. During Z-Time, my sons and I share our views about soft parenting, discipline & child abuse.  

Faith requires a level of submissiveness & applying faith into our behaviors requires a certain amount of courage. The two segments of today's show explore examples of the reciprocating relationship between submission & courage.

This episode is dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. My son and I pay tribute to him & countless others who choose to model the same kind of courage in their own ways. 

Today's show discusses how feeling "Welcome" vs feeling "Accepted" can impact the world that we create for ourselves. We discuss the story or Rachel, Leah & Jacob in one segment, & the story of Rebekah, Esau & Jacob in the second one. Throughout the show, my beautiful wife has fun gently ribbing me about getting Rachel & Rebekah's names mixed up. An added bonus in today's show is the fact that the entire family contributes for the first time in 2021.
