I wrote this little enigmatic piece, originally posted on sptr.net, in order to emerge from a dark place. It contains references that probably only make sense to someone who has lived my life but they may have some resonance or reflective value for you. I recorded it for SubStack, not for vanity but for catharsis.
An activity in this week’s seminar on the research methods course I’m taking was to make a response “linking reflections about your positionality in the photo to cultural reflections or critique”. In the time available for the task, I resorted to poetry.
Audio voiceover music is Andantino 'Spring', B. 117 by Chopin, played by Aya Higuchi and edited for this post.

This is the first, and maybe last, audio podcast in the SPTR SubStack. I am trying to develop audio production skills, needed in the research I am doing. This is a reading of the recent story posted on sptr.net.
Please let me know how it sounds to you?
Advisory: there is strong language used within a quoted story in the podcast.
