Unique
These books dramatised on radio and now on audiobooks are a joy.The unique style, language and humour make them easy to listen to and made me laugh out loud in parts. Simple pleasure for easy listening.
Slow paced and predictable
I was looking for a mystery that would be good to listen to in the car and imagined that a dramatised audiobook would be suitable. However, I found the narration distracting and struggled to concentrate on the story. The novel as a whole is slow paced and I wasn't drawn into the plot and didn't care about the resolution. I'll be avoiding this series in the future.
