Santa Monica officially announces that the new God of War will be delayed to 2022. Raising speculations that it might also be out on PS4, thus resulting to the delay. The schedule for E3 is now out from June 12 - 15. Starting with Ubisoft and ending with Nintendo, the E3 hype train is now at full speed. And new updates regarding Horizon Forbidden West's PS4 port, and what to expect when you play it on last gen.

You can already smell the scent of game reveals as the E3 hype train is starting to gain steam. With a Microsoft x Bethesda showcase expected to happen this June 13, PlayStation's Horizon Forbidden West State of Play, and new trailers for Dying Light 2 and Far Cry 6, E3 season is definitely here. Monster Hunter Rise releases game update 3.0, with a new story ending to make us go back to play it (although we don't have a copy of it yet).

With investments on Remedy, the Chinese tech juggernaut is looking to widen its reach to the west. China entering the gaming world will prove that there is more here than meets the eye when it comes to Asian developers. TimeSplitters is making a comeback with the revival of Free Radical Design by Deep Silver Studio. And it seems like it was due to popular demand. The DualSense reportedly work well on PC based on various reports. But strangely its features doesn't work on PS4, weird. And finally, Ni No Kuni 2 is coming to Switch, a platform that looks to suit it very well both in aesthetics, and audience.

From EA starting to appreciate gaming sales over micro-transactions and DLCs, to Ubisoft toning down the 3-4 yearly game release, and focusing on developing a "high - end free to play game".  We can only assume that this is just the start of a major shift in the industry. New DualSense controllers has been announced, coming in Midnight Black and Cosmic Red colors. This will surely cater those who preferred the OG PS controller color, and those who just don't prefer having an easily stained controller. Xbox turns 20 this year, and as new members of the Xbox community, we are more than happy to be a part of this celebration. And new rumours about Bethesda's "Starfield" has surfaced, with speculations that it should be an Xbox exclusive.

The war of the big rich companies has reached its boiling point as leaks from US District Court files about emails between Xbox's Phil Spencer and Epic's Tim Sweeney was recently unearthed. Detailing that there is more here than meets the eye. Who will be on top when the dusts settles? Only time will tell. And just as when we were expecting a Discord acquisition by Microsoft. Sony barges in the make a "minority" investment with the messaging platform for next year. Leading us to think that Sony might have affected the Microsoft x Discord deal. A new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade was released, featuring more of Yuffie and the possible connection of the Cait Sith cameo on the base game. And finally, if ever you need a reminder, Nintendo is doing very well.

After the setback of last year's presentation and internal turmoil. 343 Industries provides update for "Halo Infinite", although it mainly focuses on its multiplayer aspect. Hoping to get single player updates from them soon. "The New Pokémon Snap" is now out, with a Metacritic score of 80. Sadly user reviews don't correlate with the critic score. The Oscars just concluded, and viewership ratings just when live. And comparing it with last year's The Game Awards, you can clearly see the separation between both mediums. Neil Druckmann confirms "The Last of Us Part 3", but there are still no plans on developing it. Good choice because players would first like to get multiplayer for "The Last Of Us Part 2".

With "Call of Duty" still dominating the FPS shooter world, one of its main rivals is planing to make a big impact for its new instalment. With 5 developers involved, "Battlefield" truly wants to take the FPS king crown from "Call of Duty". Jim Ryan talks about Sony's present and future, with topics that involves their mindset in creating games, exclusives for PS5, and their strategy in cloud gaming. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate now supports "FPS Boosts" for EA Play games such a "Battlefield", "Titanfall", and "Star Wars Battlefront". Just another reason to add why we should get Xbox Game Pass. And Tencent tops the list of gaming companies (based on revenue) of 2020. This signals that mobile gaming is a real thing to be involved with.

News that Square Enix was up for sale came up this week, but was quickly denied by Square Enix itself. Did an apparent deal not go through resulting to the denial of the reports? Nintendo Switch Lite goes blue, not sad, literally blue. New design color means new customers just waiting for a blue version to drop. Metal Gear Solid reportedly to be licensed out by Konami, meaning the IP could be developed by another, as long as Konami gets a cut from it. And Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn "drops in" to Fortnite as Sony strengthens its partnership with Epic Games.

Bloomberg reports internal struggles within Sony as Sony Bend's pitch for Days Gone 2 was rejected by the higher ups, resulting to some of their team ending up helping on the development of a sudden, and unnecessary The Last Of Us remake. Sony may be winning the console sales so far, but it looks like they're crumbling within. Kojima x Xbox collaboration reveal soon? With Xbox looking to establish a foothold in Japan. Hideo may just be the answer. Dream Balls are hard to get in Pokémon S&S, so during the Pokémon Players Cup 3 event. They will be distributing codes to obtain the item. Due to Microsoft's game subscription service dominance with Xbox Game Pass. MLB The Show 21, which is developed by Sony San Diego, will be a Day 1 release on Game Pass. When will Microsoft's game streaming service monopoly end? As we mourn the death of Mario (meaning Nintendo will be stopping the sales for Super Mario 3D All-Stars for Switch and the Super Mario Bros.-themed Game & Watch). We ask ourselves, when will we learn to stand up against Nintendo? Final Fantasy XIV Beta will be coming to PS5 on April 13th. Including improved frame rates, 4K resolution, faster load times, 3D audio, and will be utilizing the Dualsense's haptic feedback. And reports suggest that CD Projekt Red may be halting development for Cyberpunk 2077's multiplayer. If ever they do, we think it's for the good.
