The Non-Typical Project

This is one of those episodes that I am just ecstatic I got to do. Caleb is our guest today and someone I'm glad I'm now friends with. Caleb Davidson is the Director of Skre TV and a great example of making a way for yourself against all odds. Caleb tells us about growing up hunting the family ranch, riding bulls, and chasing a dream. Caleb knew he wanted to work in the hunting industry and create films like the ones he grew up watching, and against all odds, and even in the face of failure, he prevailed and did just that. From white tail to black bear, and from giving up to getting up, Caleb walks us through it all.

I hope you all enjoy listening to this one as much as we enjoyed recording, and I hope this episode inspires you.

Today's guest is Dylan Stein. Dylan and I talk about his journey growing up hunting whitetails in Minnesota to chasing muley's in South Dakota where he now calls home. Dylan tells us about his hunting background, and how his grandpa's Western trips dating back to 1955, circle back to him today. We talk bow set ups, stalking mule deer, finding success on out of state hunts, and more.

This podcast has a little bit of something for everyone.

I hope you all enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed recording.

On today's episode we have Mr. Ben Kreifels. Ben is a hunting and fishing guide, spending his Springs getting his clients into action with turkey and black bear hunting, his summers chasing trout in the Black Hills, and the Fall and Winter providing opportunities on Mule Deer Elk. Still, through it all, Ben finds the time to lead his own adventures and find his own success at all of the above. Ben's guiding lifestyle, wile demanding, has sharpened his edge as a true woodsman and talented hunter. From his hunting roots, to his hunting career, we cover it all and have a great time doing it.

I hope you all enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed recording!

It's almost July, and you can tell. Another summer time scouting episode and there's more where this one came from. Today, I walk you guys through my process of how I find my properties I plan on hunting, how to e-scout public land for deer, and how to find your target buck, then find another. Efficiency is the name of the game and understanding the buck you find, then understanding when to bail and chase a new one can be the difference between a great season and tag soup!

I hope you guys get something you can use out of this one!

I hope you all enjoy listening as much as we enjoy recording.

Well, let Colton tell you about it in this episode, from spam sandwiches to quitting jobs to keep up with hunting season, putting bills on the back burner, and being a "stick-bum" in order to hunt, you'll find out just how nice it all is.

Hunting is Hard #1. Today is a solo pod and we're trying something new. I tend to struggle with solo podcasts and feeling like I'm rambling. So instead, I decided to take a dive into the absurd, crazy stories, insane game laws, and hunting and wildlife tales that will make your head spin.

From hunting Bigfoot in Texas, to corn piles that can be seen from space, welcome to Hunting is Hard #1

I hope you guys enjoy this one!
