(1/9/24) In this episode Caleb and Jeremiah recount their Christmas doings, watching Zindy The Swamp Boy for the first time with the necessary aid of Rifftrax, Jeremiah begins (but does not finish) his Top 10 list of movies or tv shows that were significant to him in 2023, and we mourn the deaths of Matthew Perry, Joss Acklund, Ryan O'Neal, Tom Wilkinson, Norman Lear, Andre Braugher, and Tom Smothers.

(12/12/23) In this episode Jeremiah and Caleb briefly talk about their favorite Christmas TV specials before going off on a tangent and then mourn the deaths of Jimmy Buffet, David McCallum, Michael Gambon, Diane Feinstein, Dick Butkus, Suzanne Somers, Rosalynn Carter, Suzanne Shepherd, Marty Kroft, Shane MacGowan, and Denny Laine.

(11/28/23) In this episode Caleb and Jeremiah recount their Thanksgiving travels, talk about Marvel movies versus pretentious Oscar bait, the trailer for Marvel's Echo, the ongoing problems with The Punisher as a character and in modern culture, and mourn the loss of Johnny Hardwick (voice artist, Dale Gribble from King of the Hill), Ron Cephas Jones (This is Us, Luke Cage), Tony Bennett (singer), Bob Barker (longtime host of The Price is Right).

(11/14/23) In this episode, we mourn the death of my dog Red who was a very good boy, we talk about our plans for Thanksgiving, the season (series?) finale of Loki season 2, the results of the writers and actors guild strikes, and we mourn the deaths of Sinead O'Connor (musician), Paul Reubens (comedian, Pee-Wee Herman), William Friedkin (director), Terry Funk (wrestler, actor), Arleen Sorkin (actor, VO artist, inspiration for and original voice of Harley Quinn), Richard Moll (actor, VO artist, Bull the Bailiff on Night Court).

(10/24/23) In this, the 100th episode of The Normals Show, we welcome very special guest and our friend, Josh Bearry. We reminisce about how The Normals Show (which was originally imagined as a tv show script) got it's name, how some of the characters in the show came to be and some ideas for how the tv show could evolve from a tv script to a comic book. Josh will be starting his own podcast called The Melon Party with his friend and former co-worker of ours named Jared Beatty so check that out, coming soon.

(7/05/23) We have a plan for episode 100, but have not been able to schedule a time to record that we're all available, but we wanted to get an episode out anyway. In this episode we actually meet up in the student union at Oklahoma State University for the first time since graduating from there too many years ago, we review The Flash, and mourn the very long list of deaths (that we can remember) since our last recording including "Superstar" Billy Graham (pro wrestler), Iron Sheik Khosrow Vaziri (pro wrestler), Jim Brown (NFL RB/actor/activist), Ray Stevenson (actor), Tina Turner (musician/actor), John Beasley (character actor), Treat Williams (actor), John Romita, Sr. (comic book artist), Cormack McCarthy (author), and Alan Arkin (actor).

(5/2/23) In this episode Caleb introduces Jeremiah to Callin' Oates (created in 2011, but reintroduced in 2020) and his life will never be the same, we talk about the Writer's strike currently going on, tucker carlson was finally fired, we talk way too long about the James Bond movie franchise, and we mourn the deaths of Jerry Springer (tv personality), Harry Belafonte (musician and activist), and Gordon Lightfoot (musician).

In this episode that's only a month late, we talk about the new (and final) season of Titans/Doom Patrol/other DC stuff, the Blue Beetle trailer, Star Wars stuff, The Marvels trailer, John Wick 4, and we mourn the deaths of Bill Butler (cinematographer/director of photography, Grease, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Jaws, Deliverance, Stripes, the Rocky movies, Child's Play, Biloxi Blues, etc.), Michael Lerner (Elf, Barton Fink, etc.), and Al Jaffee (cartoonist, Mad Magazine).
